Youth for Earth
Youth for Earth is a flagship youth leadership and action initiative launched in 2019 through a collaboration between the Mobius Foundation and The Climate Project Foundation. The programme empowers young people to take meaningful climate action by providing a platform to develop and implement innovative, solution-oriented projects that address real environmental challenges within their communities and campuses. Over five successful editions, Youth for Earth has supported youth-led initiatives aligned with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), fostering leadership, creativity, and on-ground impact. Participants have received national and international recognition for their efforts, highlighting the power of youth in driving change. The 6th edition of Youth for Earth will be announced later this year, continuing the programme’s mission to nurture the next generation of environmental leaders.

Youth for Earth 2025
The Youth for Earth (Y4E) Campaign, a flagship initiative of the International Conference on Sustainability Education (ICSE), enters its 6th edition in 2025 with a continued commitment to empowering young leaders as agents of change for a sustainable future. Led by the Mobius Foundation and The Climate Reality Project India & South Asia, Y4E serves as a dynamic platform to amplify youth voices, showcase innovative and action-oriented projects, and foster a growing global community dedicated to environmental stewardship. Building on the success of the 2024 theme, “Greening Education for a Sustainable Future,” Y4E 2025 is strategically aligned with the 7th ICSE theme, “Sustainability Education for Green Jobs.” As the global transition to a green economy accelerates, the campaign emphasizes the role of sustainability education in preparing young people for emerging green sectors such as renewable energy, sustainable agriculture, waste management, and climate adaptation. By bridging the gap between awareness and action, Y4E enables youth to design practical, scalable solutions that contribute to a net-zero future while inspiring broader community-led climate action.
