Water Conservation
Water has been crucial to historic development that has taken place on our globe whether it is plants, animals or human civilization. Harappa, our own roots found support in Indus to grow and sustain with waters flowing through it. Other rivers like Ganges have been a life line to the biggest settlement thriving around its shores.
Due importance was given to harnessing the power of water by way of controlling and storing of water through ponds, wells and aquifers ever since Harappa days, proof of which is still visible around those archaeological sites. Unfortunately, with modern times, we are losing the battle between development and conservation of natural resources with clean water at the centre stage of this degradation.
