Teachers’ Training Program On Climate Change
Children are the custodians of future and must know about the future.
Teachers usher children into future and are an effective conduit to reach out to children at a much larger scale.
Combining these two ideas, The Climate Project Foundation launched its ambitious Teachers’ Training Program in 2010 and have trained several thousand teachers from over 170 schools, including Mayo, Sanskriti, Sriram, Vasant Valley, Modern, Banyan Tree, Delhi Public School among others across India.
The basic aim of this program is to equip schoolteachers with tools and techniques to educate their students about climate change. The ultimate goal is to reach out to and sensitize children about this crucial issue through their teachers.
