A post-graduate in Physics from Allahabad university and in Consultancy Management from BITS, Pilani, Mr. Ashok has spent three decades in the education sector. He is an author, researcher and GCED advocate. He received The National Teachers' Award by the President of India in 2012. Ashok sits on the Governing Body of the National Council of Teacher Education (NCTE), among his many other assignments.

Dr Bharti Chhibber is teaching in University of Delhi, India for more than seventeen years. She is a well-known academic, author, socio-political analyst, and an environmentalist working, extensively writing and speaking in India and abroad for many years in the field of international relations, foreign diplomacy, Sustainable Development Goals, gender, health issues, climate change, climate justice, refugees, environmental education, renewable energy, international environmental laws, waste management and biodiversity conservation. Dr Chhibber is a Climate Reality Leader and Honorary National Coordinator-Education for Environment Conservation and Sustainable Development at the Climate Reality Project India (TCPI). 

A meritorious scholar, Dr. Chhibber has pursued her B.A. Hons. and M.A. from Lady Shri Ram College, University of Delhi and M.Phil. and Ph. D. from Jawaharlal Nehru University, Delhi, India. Prof Chhibber has more than 150 published books, research papers and articles in national and international journals and mass media to her credit. She has been honoured with international and national awards, has received fellowships, worked on projects, mentored scholars, and is regularly invited as a subject expert in electronic and print media interviews and discussions. 

She has also worked extensively with other organizations to create awareness and empower people on environmental, educational and gender issues. Further, Dr. Chhibber wrote and directed plays on ‘Environmental Conservation’ and 'Women Rights' which were staged by college students and received wide appreciation. In addition to conferences, Dr. Chhibber has organised several field events for educators, students and experts like sapling plantation drive, and have also contributed to waste paper recycling, herbal garden, and waste to compost projects.


Climate Reality Project India's National Coordinator for Oceans, and Founder of Young Environmentalists Programme Trust, Ms. Elsie Gabriel from Mumbai has been mentoring, guiding and collaborating with the small islands facing the wrath of climate change and ocean pollution. Elsie mentored, guided, educated, structured over ten Islands in Lakshadweep India with her own resources to help Tribals during the Covid isolation 2020.

Ms. Fawzia is the Programme Coordinator in the Coca-Cola Department of Regional Water Studies at the TERI School of Advanced Studies. She is an interdisciplinary water professional with 20+ years of experience in project management, teaching and training. She is an Electrical Engineer with Diploma in Management and her PhD is in Participatory Water Management. She was also awarded the Fulbright Hubert H. Humphrey Fellowship by the US State Department. She has also done short assignment on professional affiliation in Water and Ocean Governance Department at UNDP in New York City.

His organization has been focused on the singular problem solving in energy domain – rooftop, industrial, institutional, schools and residential.

​Nikhil Kamath is the Author of the novel ‘It Was You…Always’. He has been documenting his food and travel escapades on his blog The Salt and Pepper Food Guide for more than a decade. Being passionate about branding and communications, Nikhil works with small businesses and local brands as a Brand & Content Strategist, enabling homegrown brands to expand their digital presence. He trained as a Climate Reality Leader during the August 2020 Virtual Global Training and was also a part of the 2021 Climate Ambassadors Cohort at the Global Youth Climate Network (GYCN). Ms. Nita Ganguly is the winner of several National and State awards as an educator. She authored two colourful illustrated children’s story books: POLY TRAP and Hello Earth…here we come. In 2008, she was certified as Climate Reality leader and ever since, she has not looked back and has reached out to both defence personals and civil societies including the rag pickers.

Mr. Nitin Raikar is a passionate climate change presenter/ mentor and specialises in the Mitigation Track of Climate Change issues. He has a rich experience in the domain of Renewable Energy and worked in the Indian Wind Energy industry for close to two decades. He is also a Renewable Energy market researcher and was a part of the Market Intelligence Team of a leading Wind Energy major.

Mr. Prafulla Kumar Dhal is a well-known strategist and specialist on pubic polices in India spanning over 25 years. He is the General Manager & State Head, CSR of JK Group of companies in Odisha. He served as Sr. Consultant with E&Y for government advisory section. He led World Bank mission in Andhra Pradesh & Telangana for AP Municipal Development Project (APDMP) to suggest reforms in municipal governance. He authored a number of research documents for agencies like UNDP, USAID (FIRE (D), UNFPA, Development Alternatives, IUCN, VV NLI, NIEPUA, ICCW and others. Mr Dhal is especially keen in developing strategies for youth employments in non-conventional areas.

Mr. Rituraj Phukan is the Chief Operating Officer of Walk For Water, and Secretary General of Green Guard Nature Organization. He has spearheaded individual campaigns in promoting advocacy around Maharashtra Trees Preservation & Protection Act of 1975 with more than 100 talk shows, plantation drives. Championing Single page tree Act for common citizen, had also prepared the First Urban Tree manifesto during elections. At an individual level, he promotes the dignity of labour through red dot campaigns for safe disposal of menstrual waste which reach households of Pune as well Andhra Pradesh Model villages through UNICEF sponsored Programs. Apart from Environment programs, he is also a “Human Library” book, an Copenhagen initiative to open conversation & break prejudice.  His latest initiative is to reach more schools on Tree Act & Safe, and Hygienic Environment.


On retirement, Col (Retd) Shashikant Dalvi successfully designed and implemented ROOF TOP RAIN WATER HARVESTING (RWH) project in his own residential society. This project was one of its kind in Pune and gained appreciation from one and all. Since 2003, More than 250 RWH projects have been successfully implemented by him which includes Hospitals, Multi-Storied Complexes, Schools, Colleges, Industry etc.

​Sumit R Arora is a Social Development Specialist with more than 15 years of experience working with the Government and Non-Government sectors. His areas of interest include Youth & Gender studies, Environment & Climate Change issues, Waste Management, Behaviour Change Management with core competency in the domain of Capacity Building, Institutional Strengthening, Monitoring and Evaluation, and Report Writing. Besides, he is a Doctorate in Sociology and has published a few research papers and articles in Journals of National and International Repute.

He is a Certified Climate Reality Leader (CRL) under The Climate Reality Project, trained by Nobel Laureate and former US Vice President Mr. Al Gore at “The Climate Reality Leadership Corps”, training program held at New Delhi (India) in February 2015.

He is also President of Chandigarh based Civil Society Organization named ‘Association of Professional Social Worker and Development Practitioners (APSWDP)’, an association with Special Consultative Status with UN-ECOSOC, UN-DGC, and UNESCO-MIL Alliance.


Mr. Sunil’s area of interest and expertise is in Decentralized water management, Rainwater harvesting, alternate energy particularly Solar power. Through his Company Hinren Engineering, he is trying to promote and popularize alternate energy and rainwater harvesting in a cost-effective manner. She has a wide experience working with the Government, International organisations, NGOs and private sector.  She is passionate about travelling and talking about oceans and marine conservation.
