Climate Literacy and Education - South Asia

Education is an essential element of the global response to climate change. It helps people understand and address the impact of global warming, increases “climate literacy” among young people, encourages changes in their attitudes and behavior, and helps them adapt to climate change related trends, and help in making communities climate resilient.

Climate Education should reach to every educator and students, and be part of all educational institutes. To make this happen, we are reaching out to senior educators, young minds, principals, and experts from South Asia to share their voices and messages on strengthening the need for Climate Education.

IF YOU ARE AN EDUCATOR, YOUTH, EXPERT OR WORKING ON CLIMATE EDUCATION AND WISH YOU TO SEND YOUR MESSAGE AND RECOMMENDATIONS, PLEASE WRITE TO US AT INDIA@CLIMATEREALITY.COM
World leaders will meet at COP26 in November 2021, and seal the fate of future of Climate Action. COP26 will demonstrate the urgency and the opportunities of the journey towards a zero carbon economy and the power of international cooperation to address the gravest challenges the world faces.

We will make our best efforts to compile their messages in terms of need for Climate Education and possible recommendations and action from them to strengthen Climate Education in South Asia , and share with world leaders.

We organised two days webinar on 'Climate Literacy Conclave for South Asia' on 15th and 16th April 2021, in partnership with Earth Day Network and Mobius Foundation.
