WE ARE CLIMATE REALITY INDIA-
In 2006, Nobel Laureate and former U.S. Vice President Al Gore sparked an international conversation on climate change with his Academy Award-winning documentary, An Inconvenient Truth and a year later he founded The Climate Reality Project. The Climate Reality Leadership Corps has been training and empowering everyday people to become world changers – and then mobilizing them for action.
In year 2008, The Climate Reality Project India was established by Al Gore and TERI. Apart from continuing to expand the trainings and presentations, Climate Reality India is taking the message of climate change awareness to youth and students through its education and action programs.
Climate Reality has been collaborating with like-minded organizations to strengthen India’s Paris commitments and working on the thrust areas of tree plantation, 100% commitment for clean energy, water conservation, rainwater harvesting, and supporting electric mobility.

How We Empower Communities to Fight Climate Change
Our Mission
OUR MISSION IS TO CATALYZE A GLOBAL SOLUTION TO THE CLIMATE CRISIS BY MAKING URGENT ACTION A NECESSITY ACROSS EVERY LEVEL OF SOCIETY.
The greatest challenge of our time is to tackle the climate crisis by limiting the global temperature to 1.5C through cutting greenhouse gas emissions, fossil fuel usage, shift to renewables and make more and more people aware about the impacts and solutions of climate change.
We are supported by more than 550 trained passionate individuals from across the country who’ve come together to help us in solving and taking the message of climate crisis forward. These are activists, cultural leaders, organisers, scientists, and storytellers committed to building a sustainable future together.
Through our action and educational programs, advocacy and easily accessible content, we are trying to make urgent action a necessity for climate change across every level of society.
