WHAT IS 24 HOURS OF REALITY: LET’S GET REAL?

For 24 hours on October 29, former US Vice President Al Gore and Climate Reality Leader activists around the world will lead a Global Day of Action, demanding the real policy change required to cut fossil fuel emissions and transition to a just clean-energy economy. The goal of this day of action is for people around the world - people like you - to join in and make their voices heard. CALL TO ACTION TO OUR LEADERS

Time to protect the future!

India has more than 285 million students in schools and higher learning institutions who will be facing the full-blown impacts of Climate Change!

The Climate Reality Project India is calling out all its Climate Reality Leaders to join us on 29th October to engage the institutions in their circle of influence to join our Green Campus Program and bring climate awareness to the youth and next generation by working closely with them.

Reach out to your local educational institutions and engage them by presenting, writing, or speaking to teachers to turn their campus green and commit to a carbon free future!

WHAT IS GREEN CAMPUS PROGRAM?

Green Campus Programme is a platform wherein schools are suggested measures to improve the sustainability factor and green practices. The Green Campus Program is built on bringing change and help campuses in reducing their carbon footprint.

It stands on the pillars of Awareness, Action, and Award. GCP helps the school in adopting green practices in their campus and motivates them to get certified using the globally recognized green school rating system of the Indian Green Building Council.

Green campus program enables institutions to conserve natural resources, use less water, optimize energy efficiency, generate less waste, and teach climate change and sustainable education and addresses the well-being of youth as compared to conventional campus.

The program has teachers training, followed by youth engagements and community engagements surrounding the institution.
